In the fifth game of the 2017 T20 World Cup Namibia and Netherlands will square off. Both clubs entered the match having won their initial matches in the hopes of earning a spot in the Super 12 round of the league.
In their previous match, Namibia stunned the globe by pulling off a major upset, defeating Asian champions and one of the favourites to advance to the next round, Sri Lanka, by 55 runs. The Netherlands also started off strong in the competition, albeit in a different way than their rivals. In a close match against the UAE, who put up a fight, the Dutch won by three wickets.
Namibia will be hoping to build on their outstanding performance against the Lankans and repeat it against the Netherlands, who will also be striving for excellence in the forthcoming match.
