The previous candidate for the presidency of the United States attacked the democratic party for being “of, by, and for the powerful elite” rather than “of, by, and for the people.”
Prior to next month’s midterm elections, former Democratic Party candidate Tulsi Gabbard, the first Hindu-American to seek for president in 2020, announced her departure from the party on Tuesday. Gabbard blasted the GOP for “racializing every issue in the country” in a 29-minute video speech, branding it a “elitist gang of warmongers.” The former member of the US Congress has belonged to the party for the past 20 years.
In the video, Gabbard said, “I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party, which is now completely controlled by an aristocratic cabal of warmongers motivated by cowardly wokeness, who separate us by racializing every topic and promote anti-white bigotry.
The Democratic Party of today divides us by racializing every subject, fostering anti-white bigotry, and actively attempting to undermine our God-given freedoms that are protected by our Constitution, she continued. The Democrats of today are antagonistic to spiritual and religious people. They discredit law enforcement and defend offenders at the expense of law-abiding Americans. Modern Democrats support open borders and use the national security state as a weapon against political rivals. Above all, today’s Democrats are bringing the world closer to nuclear Armageddon.
The previous candidate for the presidency of the United States attacked the democratic party for being “of, by, and for the powerful elite” rather than “of, by, and for the people.”
“I support a democratic system of governance that works for the common good. Sadly, the Democratic Party of today does not. Instead, it symbolises a government run by, for, and by the wealthy elite, she claimed.
Further urging her fellow independent-minded Democrats to follow her out of the party, Gabbard made her case. She stated, “I encourage you to join me if you can no longer tolerate the way these so-called awakened Democratic Party ideologues are driving our country.”
Tulsi Gabbard, a representative from Hawaii who was elected to the US House of Representatives for the first time ever as a Hindu American, went on to win four additional elections. She was also the first Hindu lawmaker to run for president of the United States in the 2020 election.
She has criticised US Vice President Joe Biden vehemently for “pouring fuel on the fires” of the nation’s split.
In addition, from 2004 to 2005, Gabbard was a field medic in the Hawaii Army National Guard in a war zone in Iraq. From 2008 to 2009, she was then stationed in Kuwait.
