In tribute to his mother Indira Devi, actor Mahesh Babu, his wife Namrata Shirodkar, and their daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni posted on social media. She was wearing a saree and was looking at the camera in the image. Mahesh added numerous black heart emojis despite without adding a caption to the photo. Shilpa Shirodkar responded to the article by posting emojis of a baby angel. Sai Kiran penned: “Shanthi Om. My sincere sympathies, Anna.”
On Instagram, Namrata Shirodkar also posted a recent photo of her mother-in-law. She wrote as her caption: “We’ll miss you terribly. I will always remember you and the affection you showed me. Your son, your grandchildren, and more will receive my showers. Indira Devi, you are loved. I’m sending you nothing but light and love.”
Nandita Mahtani responded to the message by saying, “So sorry for your loss.” Rest in peace, Aunty; I’ll never forget your generosity, remarked Shilpa. Folded hands and crimson heart emoticons were shared by Maheep Kapoor and Seema Kiran Sajdeh.
Sitara also posted on Instagram to honour her grandmother. She uploaded a recent photo of herself, her grandmother, and her brother Gautham Ghattamaneni. She penned, “You will be sorely missed, Nainamma. Wish you’d come back (emojis for a thoughtful face and a shattered heart).”
Fans also offered their condolences reacting to their posts. A person said, “So sorry for your loss dear Namo, my heartfelt condolences to your family and you. May Her Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.” A fan commented, “She will stay forever in the hearts of her loved ones. She is a proud mother for having such a loving son and family. Could see how much Sitara loves her grandmother.”
A comment read, “Pls stay strong ma..and also take care of @urstrulymahesh Nanna…and fam! Now you are his Amma too! Another responsibility is added to you Queen ..! After a prolonged illness, Indira Devi died at the age of 70. She was the wife of actor Krishna. Earlier she was hospitalised in Hyderabad. Mahesh Babu performed the last rites of his mother on Wednesday.
